Request deletion of your data
Good news: Flinq has no accounts and stores none of your files
or messages on any server — transfers happen directly between your devices.
The only personal data we can ever hold is what you send through the optional
in-app feedback form.
How to request deletion
- Email thevizleo@gmail.com with the subject line "Delete my Flinq data".
- If you ever submitted in-app feedback, include the email address you used, so we can locate the submission.
- We will confirm once deletion is complete — within 30 days of your request.
What gets deleted
- Feedback submissions — any message and email address you sent via the in-app "Send feedback" form (stored with our form provider, Formspree). These are deleted permanently.
What we can't delete (because we never had it)
- Your files and clipboard text — these transfer device-to-device, end-to-end encrypted, and are never stored on our servers.
- App settings (device name, theme, trusted devices) — these live only on your device. Uninstalling Flinq removes them completely.
Retention
We keep no data by default. Feedback submissions are retained only until acted upon or until you request deletion, whichever comes first. Nothing else is retained.
